If May Town Center (MTC) is built, it is likely to drain the commercial life out of downtown, destroy a unique neighborhood, undermine the neighborhood planning process, and forever alter Nashville' s environmental quality of life.

The May Town Center proposal has been submitted to Metro Council in spite of a “NO” vote by the Metro Planning CommissionThis follows two long, record-setting Planning Commission hearings and over 1 year of time invested in commissioning economic and traffic studies and the collection and review of  pertinent data related to the development.

What can you do to help?

 1. Contact your own Metro Council member and all of the at-large members and express your opposition to MTC.  If you possibly can, contact every Council member. All contact information can be found at this web site:

While possibly less effective, an e-mail can be sent to all Metro Council members at once at the “Council feedback” site:

http://www.nashville.gov/council/feedback.aspx

2. Attend the March 2 Metro Council meeting
to show your opposition to May Town Center.

3. Write letters to the editor
